Concrete Grinding & Slab Prep in Port St. Lucie, FL

Thinset, mastic, epoxy and high spots ground flat with HEPA extraction — slabs ready for coating or flooring.

Concrete grinding is the step between demolition and installation that decides whether the new floor lasts. Adhesive residue, mortar ridges, curling at control joints and high spots at slab transitions all cause the same result: a finished floor that fails at the seams.

We grind residential and commercial slabs across Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce and the Treasure Coast — removing thinset, carpet mastic, old epoxy and paint, and knocking down high spots to bring the slab within flooring tolerance.

All of our grinding runs with HEPA-rated dust extraction. Silica dust is a real hazard, not a nuisance, and occupied buildings deserve the equipment that handles it correctly.

// FREQUENTLY ASKED

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

Is grinding the same as polishing?

No. Grinding prepares and flattens the slab. Polishing is a multi-step finishing process for a decorative floor.

Can you grind while a business stays open?

In sectioned areas with containment, yes — that is common for retail and office work after hours.

How flat can you get a slab?

We grind to the flatness tolerance your flooring manufacturer specifies. Severe dips need a self-leveler, not a grinder, and we will say so.
