Demolition Contractor Serving St. Lucie County, FL

County-wide demolition across St. Lucie County, FL — Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, St. Lucie West, Tradition, Lakewood Park and the unincorporated west county. Call 786-897-8003.

St. Lucie County is where Speedy Demolition Services LLC is based and where we run most of our schedule. The county covers two very different kinds of work: the platted residential grid of Port St. Lucie and the older commercial and industrial core of Fort Pierce, plus a large unincorporated western half that is mostly agricultural land, ranch parcels and grove property now being cleared for development.

Which jurisdiction your parcel sits in changes the paperwork. Property inside Port St. Lucie city limits is permitted by the city; property inside Fort Pierce goes through the city there; and anything in the unincorporated county — Lakewood Park, Indrio, the Orange Avenue and Okeechobee Road corridors, and the agricultural west — goes through St. Lucie County Building and Code Regulation. We route the permit correctly the first time instead of losing a week to the wrong counter.

Whichever side of the county you are on, the job runs the same way: verified utility disconnects, an asbestos survey where the age of the structure requires one, controlled demolition, sorted debris and a rough graded site that drains.

// LOCAL CONDITIONS

WHAT MATTERS HERE.

Three permitting authorities, one county

Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce and unincorporated St. Lucie County each issue their own demolition permits with their own disconnect documentation. We confirm the jurisdiction from the parcel before quoting a schedule.

Unincorporated west county

Grove and ranch land west of I-95 usually means acreage clearing, barn and outbuilding removal, and long haul routes. Septic drain fields and well heads get located and flagged before any loaded truck moves.

Coastal and island parcels

Hutchinson Island and the near-coastal strip carry additional review and tighter access. Staging and haul-off get planned around bridge routes and narrow beach-side streets.

Disposal and recycling

Concrete and block go to construction-material recycling, metal is separated for scrap, and mixed debris is disposed of at licensed county facilities with tickets provided.
